Shiny Shoes

Shiny shoes

When my sister and I were about five and eight years of age,
Mama got us each a pair of
black patton-leather shoes.
The way to keep them looking new was easy!
…Just break a biscuit in half and use the
soft, slightly moist and greasy inside to polish those
shiny, black shoes!

Mama knew lots of good stuff! :)
